This is one of my all time favorite birds. The song of the White-throated Sparrow takes me back to the North Shore of Minnesota and Cascade State Park. The sparrow is first heard rather than spotted in migration and in their nesting habitat. The song is describe as, "Poor Sam Peabody, Peabody, Peabody." I learned it years ago as, "Oh Canada, Canada, Canada". They have been at our seed feeders since our May Snow Incident.
