Great Blue Herons on Harbor Lights

On our Scarlet Adventure on a pontoon to the Mangrove Islands we saw the pair of Great Blue Herons on a nesting platform. Yes, it was a windy day and the pontoon was moving along. The photos are in sequential order. At first his looked like a mating ritual or maybe a squabble on whose nest is it. Looking closer it looks like rejection or now I can be at peace. Or am I projecting to much to this scene.
