Our road trip purpose with Brian to the Levee near Bentsen was to find the Hook-billed Kites and other Hawks. Mission was not completed but we enjoyed out time with Sue, Steve at Americana Resort.
Verdin was high in the trees near the resort.

It was agreed that this was an immature Red-tailed Hawk, possibly a Kryder's.
