Time out for Celebrating 50 Years

Gunnar and I went to the North Shore of Minnesota 50 years ago for our honeymoon.  It has been a wonderful place to revisit through the years.  But the days we chose were cool, windy and rainy.  We stayed in Duluth the first night and ate at Grandma's on the Hill.  We got to our Tiny House in Grand Marias after reminiscing on the shore where we stayed and ate many times before. Naniboujou was a delighted to eat at on a rainy afternoon with many others who thought it was a good idea.  The Voyageur Brewing Company was the closest great place to eat and the Angry Trout was only a block away. We made our way down to North Minneapolis but first stopped at Hawkridge in Duluth for a little birding. Then we were treated by Nicole and Addy to a wonderful dinner at the Bachelor Farmer in Minneapolis.

We spent sometime on our trip planning our 50th Celebration.
Here is a few photos from the day, which turned out to be snowy but we felt the love.
