Butterflies at Estero

First Day with my Canon Power Shot SX50 HS. I just tried to find a butterfly and take a photo on Auto. I had not a clue what any the buttons were for but there was a Butterfly Walk at Estero State Park south of Weslaco, TX.  So begins my journey with my new best friend hanging around my neck.  Last week it was my Pentax Papilio binoculars.  So much too learn but I am willing and anxious to learn.

Fatal Metalmark  (1")

Gray Hairstreak (1")  Uncharacteristically Open

  3. The was the first day with camera. Your photos at Falcon were incredible. I need to send them to Pat at the park. Not a good photo today, still waiting for the one.
