Redstarts Not So Red In Fall 9/6 - 9/14

Redstarts are one of my favorite Warblers. I think it is because they are so colorful and easy to identify because of there fanning tail.  Of course, there is no need to impress a mate in the Fall so they are much duller than in Spring. Only a few males were as dark as the first photos.
