Spring Air: Green Kingfisher and Green Heron

While hiking at Estero around the main ponds there was a Green Kingfisher flying
numerous laps around the fallen tree trunk.  Looking closer, he was flying as his hopeful
mate was watching along with 6 birders.  Later two birders were so excited to share
his video of the mating pair.  The Kingfishers were in the shadows of Grebe Pond. 2/26

A pair of Green Herons were in a tree near SPI Visitors Center. 3/31
Earlier they were moving sticks apparently nest making with not much success.
